First Edition, Longmans, Green and Company, 1942. Among Dad’s old books I found this first edition of We Have Been Friends Together by Raïssa Maritain signed by Jacques Maritain. Among Dad’s old papers I found a check written by Raïssa Maritain in 1945 to the New York Phone Company. I have no idea how Dad came to have this. I keep it in the book so I have both signatures together.
